Eaton Limit Switches - AT4 Series
The Eaton AT4 range of limit switches has special universal contacts with low contact resistance to prevent circuit failures. Whats more, this enables a high level of control circuit reliability, making the limit switches most suitable for use with electronic systems. The AT4 limit switch is highly flexible and mechanically strong. Dust-tight and water-proof to NEMA 12, 13 and IP 65, AT4 Position Switches are suitable for use in harsh industrial applications. Available with normal action, snap action or overlapping contacts.
The normal and overlapping contacts are triggered by the actuating plunger, making the limit switches suitable for safety circuits where the control circuit has to stop a machine, even when the limit switch is damaged.
Where slow action contacts are directly affected by external operating speed, the snap-action contacts open and close quickly and independent of the actuator speed. These limit switches are suitable in areas where there is high machine vibration, when switching DC voltages or when it is required that make and break contacts are switched together.
The versatile modular system consists of standard and non-standard basic switches, enclosures, actuating heads and leavers. This enables users to assemble the required switch when needed from the modules in stock. As a result, if various different model limit switches are needed, the material handling costs of storing assembled switches can be reduced.
