Introducing ATEX IECex empty U Version uncertified component junction boxes from our own brand RS PRO, a selection of high quality and durable enclosures designed for installing and protecting a range of internal electrical parts and components. These increased safety box are perfect for use in hazardous areas that require a junction box with a high level of protection and impact resistance.

These RS PRO increased safety junction boxes are a type of enclosure manufactured from high-quality glass reinforced polyester, offering a lightweight yet highly durable enclosure that is fire retardant, UV and corrosion resistant. The increased safety terminal box also features graphite to further enhance the resistance to corrosion whilst providing an aesthetically pleasing finish. The lid and base are screwed together with stainless steel captive screws and include a groove and tongue system with inserted sealing cord between the lid and base. The high quality design provides an IP66 rating level of protection preventing dust and water ingress, making them suitable for use indoors and outdoors. The enclosure is mounted through the screw channels outside the sealing space.
