CMWX1ZZABZ-078, 868MHz, 915MHz LoRa Module, Murata
The CMWX1ZZABZ-078 is a compact, Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) Wireless Module that supports the LoRaWAN long range wireless protocol. The standalone module has pre-certified radio regulatory approvals for operating in the 868 MHz and 915 MHz Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) spectrum around the world. An optional STSAFE secure element can be incorporated into the MCU to enhance the network security capabilities.
The LoRa module is based on the Semtech SX1276, up to 1020 MHz Low-Power Long Range Transceiver. The data processing is managed by the STM32L082CZ, Ultra-low-power ARM Cortex-M0+ Microcontroller with 192 Kbytes Flash and 20 kB RAM, 32 MHz CPU, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).
Typical applications for this module include smart metering, wearables, tracking, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication and internet of things (IoT) edge nodes.
