Infineon Evaluation Board for BCR450 LED driver

The Infineon BCR450 demo board is based on the BCR 450 LED Driver IC. The BCR450 is optimised for usage with an external power transistor for driving LEDs above 100 mA. The BCR450 can be used in stand-alone operation for currents up to 85 mA. The modular concept allows extending the number of LED strings attached to the secondary side to realize street lighting designs with higher output power. Dimming of the LEDs in the BCR450 LED strings is also possible by applying a PWM signal for example from a microcontroller.
Typical applications are commercial luminaires and residential lighting.
