Standard and Low Current Contacts

This range of Cannon DL Crimp Contacts are available with both 20μ inch and 50μ inch Gold Plating.
The 20μ inch Gold Plated beryllium-copper hermaphrodite contacts are used for applications requiring over 100 milliamps to 5 amps and are physically the same and will mate with each other and can be used in both plug and socket bodies, see stock number 484-8676 for 20-22 AWG and 484-8698 for 24-26 AWG.
The 50μ inch Gold Plated beryllium-copper contacts are used for applications requiring microamps to 5 amps (low current) and are physically slightly different with the Plug contact having a Bump and the Receptacle contact being Flat:

Low Current:

0.5μin. gold plated beryllium copper contacts for plug and socket bodies
For high speed digital and low current work i.e. 'dry circuit' less than 100mA
Design minimises contamination build-up
