RainPerfect Solar Powered Rain Barrel Pump Kit
The RainPerfect 12Vdc Solar Powered Rain Barrel Pump provides pressurised pumping of rain water through a garden hose (at approximately 13psi) from a rain barrel (or similar rainwater storage vessel). The pump may be used for general domestic (or similar) use, including watering around a garden, car washing or for use with low pressure sprinklers. The power is supplied from built-in rechargeable NiMH batteries, enabling the pump to be used at any time of day or night. The pump is capable of moving 378 litres of water through a single battery charge (the built-in NiMH batteries require approximately 8 hours of sun for a full charge), and may be connected to any standard garden hose. The solar panel and the pump is easily installed using screws and the unit may be used with most types of rainwater storage vessel.
