Product Details
The Alpha Wire Ethernet® IEEE 802-3 drop cable is a 20 AWG multicore shaped four pair cable, each being individually shielded for connection cables to tranceive on local networks. The tin-plated copper core is covered in a grey PVC sheath and is capable of operating at temperatures +75 °C.
Cat5 Ethernet cables are one of the most popular types of network cable for connecting computers, modems, routers and other wired internet capable devices.
When storing your patch leads, we advise that you lightly roll your cables into a loose coil, going with the natural curve of the wire. When not in use, we suggest that the cables be stored in a protective case where dust and impurities will not get lodged into the connector ends.
