Product Details
This test connector adapter converts a banana jack to a socket for accessing individual pins in multi-pin connectors during laboratory and bench testing. It is designed for high-voltage hands-free use up to 2500Vrms and for low-current measurement tasks, providing insulated access to hard-to-reach contacts while protecting against accidental shorting.
The upper connector uses brass for the banana jack body and the lower socket is a copper alloy with a gold finish over copper plating.
The adapter's operating temperature limit is +55°C (+131°F) maximum.
The insulated, flexible tip prevents shorting and allows access to closely spaced contacts without damaging adjacent pins.
Colour options include red and black, colour is used to identify individual adapters within test kits.
A test kit configuration contains a set of red and black adapters covering various contact sizes alongside matching test leads.
The test leads and prods illustrated in this catalogue should NOT be used for testing circuits of more than 50Vac unless specified otherwise. When testing live circuits, under no circumstances should the fuse rating exceed the quoted rating of the test leads.
