From Lapp, the Epic Series R range of circular connectors presents a compact solution to signal and power applications. Featuring a high contact density within a relatively small shell size, these connectors are ideal when space saving is a consideration.

These in-line cable couplers have a screw lock mating system that allows them to securely mate with cable mounted connectors. The R Series in-line couplers have a robust copper alloy with nickel plating construction, which offers excellent mechanical protection. Once mated, the-inline couplers are well sealed, and suitable for use in demanding environments.

These cable connectors feature an integrated PG cable gland to ensure that the cable is sealed and securely attached. The gland also provides strain relief, which can help prevent wear and tear on the cable assembly.

Environment

The Epic Series R circular connectors are protected to IP65. This means they are dust tight and resistant to low pressure water spray. They also have a good degree of mechanical resistance, and are resistant to corrosion. As such they present a low maintenance connector solution for most indoor environments, and even some open air applications.
