This 240 W embedded switch-mode power supply (SMPS) uses a switching regulator to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) more efficiently than traditional units.
It takes mains power from an AC source and converts it to a DC load, which is used to charge a range of electronic equipment requiring a stable and efficient power supply. It's part of our tried-and-tested RS PRO range.
This model is more Compact and lightweight than traditional power supply units and has a vented metal case that combats heat dissipation. There are easy-access screw terminals on the sides and a simple chassis mount which can be installed by almost anyone.
