Use this Ethernet media converter from StarTech.com to convert optical data signals from single and multi-mode optical fibre to copper-based UTP (unshielded twisted pair) wired networks. To provide data and power, simply plug the fibre network link and RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on the PoE (power over ethernet) converter. It's commonly used to enhance productivity in warehouses, factories, schools and other areas that need connectivity over long distances.
